When I open the Voice Memos app, it will not record for me. I tried other voice recording app like Recordium, same problem. And then there's this app that I use called Sleep Cycle, it did not record any sounds at all and now the app starts crashing. At first I thought there's a problem with the mic but when i use voice messaging, animoji. I am signed onto iCloud with the same account on all my devices, but while my Voice Memo recordings sync as they should among my Apple Watch, iPhone, and iPad Pro, the Voice Memos stopped syncing to my three Mac computers (work and home iMacs, and my MacBook).

I have gone into settings on the Macs and double checked to make sure Voice Memo is set to use iCloud. I even toggled them off and back on again to see if there was a bit stuck.

I have seen a few others have had this problem but the solution given was to use Airdrop to share the sound files. However, according to Apple we shouldn't have to do this: 'All your memos are available on every device that's signed in to iCloud with the same Apple ID. Just turn on Voice Memos in the iCloud settings of each device.'
